review, er, ramble

I got my PSoH DVD earlier this month. I was wondering how they were going to handle the way some characters see the pets in human form while others see them as animals. It was a bit weird, especially the babies/rabbits. Man were they creepy. Anyway, I've had time to watch it in Japanese with subtitles, but not in English yet. I generally prefer to hear movies in their original language, though I tend to remember the characters as having spoken in English, but I have to admit it was a bit strange to hear them speaking Japanese when the manga is set in in states. I hadn't considered that conundrum before as most of what I have seen before was set in an imagined location and the home language was not established as different from what the characters spoke. Hearing Leon speaking in another language made me laugh a little bit. Also, wouldn't D speak Chinese? Ah well. I want to watch it again soon with the book in my hand to see how they adapted.

My handsome and amazing BetterHalf ordered the "Naked Sean Bean" Lady Chatterly's Lover for me, so it may be awhile before I get back to D and Leon.
