Well Celebratory!
Jan. 22nd, 2010 07:06 pmI accepted my financial aid package for BLSE at Oxford, and they covered pretty much MY ENTIRE TUITION!!!!!
I was thinking I might have to skip a year and only have BetterHalf take classes because of all the added travel/lodging expense, but now, my tuition is covered, so... Milton, here I come! GLEE! I'm wondering if my Oxford professor would put up with a paper that looks critically at Season of Mists and Paradise Lost together. I've not read PL beofre, so it will be all new and exciting. Like Spenser last year, only not as heavy (to carry).
On a(vaguely?) related note, someone in the department meeting casually said, "better to reign in hell than serve in heaven," except, work is so awful and ridiculous right now that I had to ask, "And what about serving in Hell? What are our thoughts on that?"
