My 3rd period students today expressed concern that I might be shot in India and insisted that I hire a bodyguard or, at least, carry a Glock. :) One of them mimed how I should shove it into the back of my pants so that I could pull it and aim quickly.

You know, when you're a teacher, you learn something new every day.

Haha! That is hilarious. :) Sweet of them to be concerned though!

I know. lmao. Class was fairly pointless after that. When I told 4th period yesterday, three boys WHO NEVER DO ANY KIND OF WORK FOR ME hemmed and hawed and rambled and asked if they had convinced me. I said, "Uh, I'm not sure what you are trying to convince me to do." "Don't quit." "Oh, well, no, then."

All the trouble makers are going to have to find a new sucker when I'm gone. They are distraught.

My students would probably provide someone, not me, with the glock. *eye roll*
