Well, this morning I hit the wall. Now I guess I have to climb over. I woke at 5:22, actually awake! and then Pippin crawled over me and said, "Mom, I want you in the middle," and he cuddled up so warm and snugly that I went back to sleep. damn. I woke again at 6:30 which put me in a panic to get everybody dressed and out the door. Dressed firstborn while she slept. Haven't done laundry in a week and a half, so had to scrounge her some clothes, then as we got in the car, Firstborn spilled her bowl of cereal (yes, I routinely feed my kids breakfast in the car), and I had to go in and scrounge for more pants, panicking all the while that we were getting later and later. Didn't make lunch for either kid. Fb ate in the cafeteria. I brought Pippin back home for that awkward hour between the time I drop of Fb and the time I can drop him off. I made his lunch and proceeded to kick the house's butt. I washed dishes, started laundry, picked up a bit, dropped off Pippin, came home and worked on the house some more, went to class, came home and worked on the yard, went to class, came home and found that not all of my work had been undone. Very Satisfying. Children are off to grandparents tomorrow for the weekend!
